Job Costing Module

This course is designed to train Production Managers on the fundamental operations of the Encore Job Costing Module, including posting materials, labor, and special costs, closing jobs, and generating reports.

Objectives

By the end of this course, the student will be able to: Manage Job Costing Entries – Post materials, labor, and special costs in the Encore Job Costing Module. Finalize Job Processes – Close jobs efficiently within the system. Analyze Job Data – Generate reports to review and assess job costs and performance.

Prerequisites

Student should have a basic understanding of the following concepts and access to the following resources before beginning this course of instruction: • Knowledge of basic job costing principles and terminology • Knowledge of existing Job Costing configuration in Company Table • Knowledge of basic search criteria in Encore (Ex: Order Number, Due Dates) • Encore user account with access to the Job Costing Module
